Hi, Dr. Sink,
Sometimes there's just no words in the english language one can say to express heart-felt gratitude. If that sounds mushy it is! Thank-you so much for caring about our girls and your compassion. It's the respect you show each of our horses as individuals that's so touching. Your gentle nature is so comforting to each of us because we know, you understand how much we love our girls. You embrase your love, your passion as an equine vet and it shows! When you offer words of encouragement or a hug when the owner fights back tears, your knowledge and insight, honesty and mostly your time, trust me we feel we've given our girls the best of the best!

Our large pony became lame, and didn't follow the typical symptoms for common lamenesses, such as an abscess, bruise, laminitis or arthritis. Dr. Sink did a thorough evaluation, including x-rays, and diagnosed our pony with weight bearing laminitis in one foot. Because the other leg has arthritis, the good leg took on more weight bearing, which eventually caused laminitis in the good foot. Moving forward took a team of three to help our pony become more comfortable. Peggy needed shoes (clogs) to help the healing and to be more comfortable. She did not want anything done to her feet, let alone a hammer pounding on the sore hoof. Dr. Sink came to the rescue and tranquilized Penny and helped hold her while I helped hold her foot, and my farrier, Lisa Day, put on her special shoes. With the three of us working together for her care, six months later she was without shoes and doing great getting around. Dr. Sink and Lisa Day are a great team - thank you!!

Thank you to all that have sent your kind words to me personally as well as to my website! It's because of all of you that I love what I do, and am reminded every day just why I have chosen this profession. I am truly blessed!
Sincerely,
Dr. Sink

'I am so pleased to find a vet that is thorough, kind, and caring. This morning I had a horse start to colic and needed a vet. My regular vet is no longer in the business and my backup vet has yet to return my phone call. Deb answered as soon as I called her and was able to make it out to our home quickly. she made the process easy and had a personality and way of explaining things that made me feel at ease and comfortable. She didn't seem bothered at all to explain the process and what was going on and after care instructions in a way that I could understand. I'm so excited to call her our new vet and will definitely recommend her to friends, family, and others in the area.
I'm happy to say she will be out next week to tend to the need of our horses that were noticed in today's visit!
Thank you so much, Deborah, and God Bless!
